* Tom McGrath, a member of a pioneering Ventura County farming family, has been named president of Ag Land Services, a Somis orchard management and development firm. He was formerly in charge of purchasing at S.N.G. Spice Inc. in Oxnard. Earlier in his career, he worked for McGrath Ranch Co., Westside Strawberry Farms and Consolidated Produce Growers.

* Michael Thompson has been named vice president of worldwide sales at Data Exchange Corp. in Camarillo. He previously worked for Olivetti, IBM, Storage Tek and Itel.

Data Exchange also named Ken Rabidou its new director of Eastern regional sales. He was formerly with Bull Information Systems and Repair Logistics Inc.

* Judy H. Winzer has been named vice president of business development at First National Bank of Ventura. She formerly worked for Bank of A. Levy and First Interstate Bank.

* Eugene R. Stack, a broker with Kemper Securities in Thousand Oaks, has been named to the Kemper Executive Council. Less than 1% of the firm’s sales representatives qualify for the group.

* Patricia L. Turnage has been named an assistant vice president at Channel Islands National Bank in Oxnard. She was formerly with Bank of A. Levy.
