Rainbow Technologies Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of personal computer software protection products recorded a 7% increase in profit for the first quarter to $1.5 million, or 27 cents a share, from $1.4 million, or 25 cents a share, for the 1994 first quarter. Revenue was up 19% to $10.7 million from $9 million.
