Advanced Logic Posts $1.1-Million Quarterly Profit

Advanced Logic Research Inc., an Irvine computer systems company, reported net income of $1.1 million, or 9 cents a share, for its second fiscal quarter ended March 31. That compares to net income of $293,000, or 3 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Revenue declined 2%, to $47.4 million from $48.3 million.

Profit for the first half of fiscal 1995 was $1.7 million, or 15 cents a share, compared to $814,000, or 7 cents a share, for the like six months a year ago. Revenue was down 5%, to $93.1 million from $97.9 million. The company noted lower sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
