IRVINE : Nature Survival Class Offered for Youths

A class to teach 10- to 14-year-olds how to survive in nature will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through May 17 at Northwood Community Park, 4531 Bryan Ave.

The class, sponsored by the city’s Community Services Department, will include discussions on edible plants, finding directions and survival techniques. The cost is $20.
