Gish Biomedical: The Irvine manufacturer of surgical products posted net income of $473,700, or 14 cents a share, for its fiscal third quarter ended March 31, a 59% increase in profit from $297,6000, or 10 cents a share, for the same quarter of the prior year. Quarterly sales rose 6% to $5.6 million from $5.3 million. Profit for the nine-month period increased 55% to $1.3 million, or 40 cents a share, from $828,200, or 27 cents a share, last year. Sales increased 4% to $16.3 million from $15.6 million.
