CareLine Inc.: The Santa Ana ambulance service company, which has grown in the past year through acquisitions, reported net income of $1.5 million, or 10 cents a share, for the first quarter, an increase of 75% over $865,000, or 6 cents a share, earned for the first three months last year. Quarterly revenue rose to $56 million this year from $19.9 million.
