Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim robotics and data recorder maker, which last week reported its first-ever annual loss, said a subsidiary has recently booked more than 200 orders for its automated tape library system. Chairman Joel Slutzky said the orders received by its subsidiary, ATL Products, are an encouraging sign for its prospects. Odetics is trying to recover from a $4.7-million loss for its fiscal year, which ended March 31. The company also cut 100 jobs after losing a major customer in Dallas.
