AmeriQuest Technologies Inc.: The Santa Ana computer products distributor said Friday that $15.9 million in default judgments were entered against it and its former chief executive in favor of certain shareholders of defunct Microware Corp., which AmeriQuest decided not to acquire in 1993.

AmeriQuest said it has retained Oregon counsel to proceed with efforts to petition the Circuit Court of Washington County, Ore., to vacate the judgment based upon the fact that the company’s registered agent was not served and the judgment was taken without the company’s consent or appearance.
