Keynote Speakers of Note: Law professor Anita Hill, who is living in Laguna Beach while on leave from the University of Oklahoma to write two books, will join entertainers Lily Tomlin and Joan Rivers as keynote speakers at the Southern California Conference for Women in Business next month in Long Beach.
The conference, on June 23 and 24, will present workshops led by more than 250 business experts who will discuss topics ranging from entrepreneurship and financing to affirmative action and multiethnic customers.
The meeting, sponsored by Women Inc., California American Women’s Economic Development Corp. and several businesses, will be held at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. The cost ranges from $55 to $125.
