Parent Responsibility

* As the father of two preteen boys and as a person who is thoroughly outraged at the recent beating death at Narbonne High School in Harbor City (May 19), I would like to offer my own personal “contract with America.”

As a responsible parent I promise that if my kids start hanging around with a gang, or tagger crew or dance crew or whatever the disgusting little perverts call themselves, I will personally kick their butts. If I find that my children have participated in a group beating, I will take them outside and demonstrate the concept of pain. And if I ever find that my children have been involved in a killing, I will shoot them dead like the wild dogs they would be.

I am not too concerned with having to go through with the above actions because I have taught my kids that there is nothing more worthy of contempt than the cowards that run in packs. Have you taught yours?
