Health Net Gets New Chairman: Health Systems International, a Woodland Hills-based managed health care company, named Michael E. Gallagher as chairman, president and chief executive of its Health Net subsidiary. He replaces Roger F. Greaves, a Health Net co-founder who resigned his executive posts shortly after Health Systems announced plans in April to merge with WellPoint Health Networks. Gallagher said his job is “to see Health Net through the merger process.” Once the merger is completed, Gallagher said, he will no longer take an active role in company management. Gallagher, 45, is a co-founder of Shamrock Investments, a Century City investment firm specializing in health care mergers and acquisitions and consulting.
