Packaging Pact: Kofax Image Products in Irvine said this week that it has signed an agreement to package its computer programs with those made by Excalibur Technologies Corp. in San Diego.

Kofax’s software will be used to organize documents and other information stored in Excalibur’s information-management programs, which are designed for office computer networks.

Privately held Kofax, founded in 1985, develops computer programs to help companies shift information from printed pages to office computer networks.
