POMONA : Gerchas Pleads Guilty to Lying on Loan Form

Share

Mary Anne Gerchas, who claimed she saw four men outside Nicole Brown Simpson’s condominium the night Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman were killed, pleaded guilty Thursday to lying on a car loan application.

Gerchas, 40, is scheduled to be sentenced July 20 in Pomona Superior Court.

Her guilty plea came one day after she entered guilty pleas to charges stemming from unrelated cases, including one in which she admitted defrauding a Century City hotel out of about $24,000.

Gerchas’ attorney, William Graysen, was not available for comment.

Graysen had contended that his client was targeted by prosecutors bent on destroying her credibility after she appeared on the defense witness list for O.J. Simpson. She was taken off the list after the first two cases were filed against her.
