Mail Carriers’ Collection of of Food for Needy a Success

WASHINGTON —
The nation’s mail carriers collected more then 44 million pounds of food for the needy in their annual drive against hunger. The National Assn. of Letter Carriers said the food collected during May was donated to food banks and shelters in 1,120 communities.
