Hygenics Pharmaceuticals Inc.: The Laguna Hills developer of germ-killing topical agents for soaps has entered a licensing pact with Clay Park Laboratories Inc., a manufacturer of generic drugs. Under the agreement, Clay Park will receive a non-exclusive worldwide license to manufacture and market Hygenics’ 4% solution of chlorhexidine gluconate--a liquid soap used primarily by hospitals and other health care facilities--in exchange for royalties.
