Generation Gap in Modern Economics

You know you are getting old when: You don’t understand a headline like “GDP Sputters to 1 1/2-Year Low, Brightening Predictions” (June 1). This means: Business is bad so things are looking good.

I guess I just don’t understand modern economics.
