Health: HIV Study Volunteers Sought

UCLA’s Center for AIDS Research and Education is seeking volunteers 18 and older for HIV-related treatment programs to study the safety and effects of the oral medication vesnarinone. The program is looking for people with AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma or those who are HIV-infected with CD4 cell counts greater than 300. Volunteers should not have current signs, symptoms or illnesses associated with HIV. Outpatient visits will be required and there is no cost for treatment. For information: (800) 825-2631.
