Oxnard : Police Arrest 4 Men in Gunfire Incident
Oxnard police arrested four men early Monday after several shots were fired from a pickup truck at a North Ventura Road home, authorities said.
Police said they arrived at the home in time to see a blue pickup speeding from the scene. Officers gave chase, and, before stopping, one of the truck’s occupants threw a plastic cup of beer at the cruiser, police said.
Police arrested four Oxnard men: Ernesto Salazar, 21; Gerardo Reyes, 23; Emmanuel Michel, 22, and Ruben Reyes, 23. The men were booked on suspicion of firing a weapon from a vehicle, possession of a concealed weapon, and conspiracy. In addition, Reyes is suspected of drunk driving. All were being held in lieu of bail.
