UCI’s Schedule Includes Three Pac-10 Opponents

UC Irvine’s 1995-96 men’s basketball schedule features three Pac-10 opponents and a season-opening appearance in the Joe Lapchick Memorial Tournament in Jamaica, N.Y.

The Anteaters open the season Nov. 24 against Siena and meet either host St. John’s or Niagara on Nov. 25. Irvine will play nonconference games Dec. 2 at Oregon State and Dec. 16 at USC, and plays host to Washington State on Dec. 29.

Irvine’s games will be broadcast this season on KMNY (1600 AM) radio.

The 1994-95 schedule:

Nov. 8-Foreign team (TBA, exhibition); 18-Son’s Blue Angels (exhibition); 24-Siena (at Jamaica, N.Y.); 25-St. John’s or Niagara (at Jamaica, N.Y.)

Dec. 2-at Oregon State; 9-Eastern Washington; 16-at USC; 21-at University of San Diego; 29-Washington State.

Jan. 2-Pacific; 4-San Jose State; 8-at Long Beach State; 10-at UC Santa Barbara; 13-at Cal State Fullerton; 18-New Mexico State; 20-UNLV; 25-at Nevada; 27-at Utah State.

Feb. 1-UC Santa Barbara; 3-Long Beach State; 6-Southern Utah; 10-Cal State Fullerton; 15-at UNLV; 17-at New Mexico State; 22-Utah State; 24-Nevada; 29-at San Jose State.

March 2-at Pacific; March 7-10-Big West Tournament (TBA).
