Bergen Brunswig May Get Share of Mednet Contract

Mednet, MPC Corp., a Las Vegas discount mail-service pharmacy operator, said Thursday that it will likely subcontract a portion of a $47-million annual contract to Bergen Brunswig Corp., an Orange drug distributor. Under the contract received from the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, Mednet will provide pharmaceutical purchasing management services. The contract is for one year with three one-year extensions.
