Gasoline Prices Slip Nationwide: The per-gallon price fell nearly a penny in the past two weeks, the first drop in more than three months, an industry analyst said. The average price of gasoline, including all grades and taxes, was $1.277, according to the Los Angeles-based Lundberg Survey, which was taken Friday of 10,000 stations nationwide. That’s down .89 cents from the last survey on June 9, analyst Trilby Lundberg said. “Prices nationally could slip a bit further,” Lundberg said. Prices are still on the rise in a few Midwest cities, but the majority of metropolitan areas nationwide have seen prices fall or stabilize, she said.
