Police Seeking 2 Robbery Suspects
Police are searching for a gun-toting man in a cowboy hat and his partner, who are suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank at gunpoint Wednesday, authorities said.
The men entered the bank in the 6900 block of Bolsa Avenue about 10:10 a.m., brandished handguns and demanded cash from several tellers, Police Sgt. Janet Perez said.
The assailants fled after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Perez said.
Detectives described the robbers as black, slim-built men, one in his early 20s and the other in his mid-30s. One was wearing a white shirt and pants and a cowboy hat, Perez said. The second robber donned dark clothes, sunglasses and a golf-style cap, Perez said.
