Van Nuys : Murder Charges Filed in Drive-By Shooting
Prosecutors on Thursday filed murder charges against two alleged gang members in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting.
Los Angeles Police Detective Marshall White said Mainor Rivera, 19, and Juan Trejo, 23, both face one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Rivera is suspected of fatally shooting Alberto Aceves, 24, and wounding an unidentified 14-year-old boy Sunday while Trejo drove the car, White said.
The shooting was gang-related and followed an argument between the occupants of Trejo’s car and a group standing on the corner of Nordhoff Street and Langdon Avenue, White said.
