PUC to Review Report on Phone Fees: An adviser to Commissioner Daniel W. Fessler said he had received but had not reviewed a staff report recommending action against GTE for allegedly overcharging some of its customers on phone installation. The adviser, Jose Jimenez, said that because of the Fourth of July holiday, the state Public Utilities Commission will not see the report before Wednesday. Jimenez said it is unlikely the PUC will act without giving GTE an opportunity to present its case. GTE has denied the allegations.
