Wet Seal Inc.: The Irvine women’s apparel retailer said Friday that it has completed its previously reported purchase of Contempo Casuals, a retail chain with 237 stores in 34 states and Puerto Rico. Wet Seal purchased the chain from Neiman Marcus Group Inc. for $1 million of Wet Seal Class A common stock. Kathy Bronstein, vice chairman and chief executive, said Contempo Casuals will continue to operate as a separate entity under its own name.
