Fat as Cartoon Symbol

* Re Drawingboard, June 19 and 20:
First Conrad, then Oliphant! In depicting their view of a) an angry white male, and b) a contemporary militia-type, they drew individuals with big bellies. Is there something morally wrong with being fat? If so, must we think less of Babe Ruth, Burl Ives and Winston Churchill?
As an off-white, sometimes angry and definitely horizontally challenged male, I would remind Conrad and Oliphant that Hitler was a vegetarian, and quite slim-and-trim, thank you.
