Lima Car Bomb Damages Official’s Home, Hurts 6

LIMA, Peru —
A car bomb outside the home of a vice president of Peru’s Congress injured six people and severely damaged the house, police said early Sunday.
Police said Shining Path rebels were suspected in the explosion of 331 pounds of dynamite about 10 p.m. Saturday in front of the home of Congressman Victor Joy Way of the majority Change 90-New Majority coalition of President Alberto Fujimori.
