Chemical Bank, Microsoft Form Alliance: Chemical Bank said it has formed an alliance with Microsoft Corp. in the first such deal with software companies to improve customer services with new technology. Other alliances will be announced shortly, Chemical said. Chemical said the deals are part of a comprehensive program to provide expanded home and office personal computer banking and bill paying, giving customers more information, more control and improved financial management. The New York-based bank said it will introduce new software, Money for Windows 95, based on Microsoft’s upcoming operating system in October.
