Oh, Tyus Yellow Ribbon Round the NBA Draft

Thank goodness that Tyus Edney has more class than Mike Downey [June 30]. We didn’t hear Tyus disparaging Damon Stoudamire and complaining about Damon’s good fortune.
It’s a shame that Downey chose to take the low road by criticizing Stoudamire when we should be celebrating the selection of so many fine Pac-10 players in the draft.

Damon Stoudamire and Brent Barry will likely have fine NBA careers. However, Tyus Edney can and will outplay Stoudamire and Barry any day, any time, anywhere. He did it for four years at UCLA and he will do it in the NBA.

Well, the Clippers have done it again. Jerry Stackhouse was available, yet they drafted Antonio McDyess, then made one of the worst trades I’ve ever seen.
This is the last straw. My family’s season seats have been relinquished and I can only wish Donald T. Sterling and his Clippers the best of luck in their drive to Palookaville.
