MOTOR RACING : Karvasek Strikes Back
T.K. Karvasek exacted the best kind of revenge.
He defeated his opponents.
After almost coming to blows with another driver in the pits, Karvasek took the checkered flag in the Street Stock 25-lap oval feature and the Figure Eight 15-lap main at Saugus Speedway Saturday night.
During a Figure Eight heat race, Arleta driver Oscar Sevilla allegedly forced Karvasek to spin out. After the race, the two argued heatedly in the pit area.
Sevilla was later disqualified after he forced Julianne Seeley to spin out in the Figure Eight main.
In the Pure Stock division, Brian Horst won his fifth consecutive 12-lap feature.
Thousand Oaks driver Tony Dighera edged a hard-charging Terry Limberopoulos in the 20-lap Mini Stock feature.
