Economist’s Wife to Withdraw Divorce Filing: Judith Kudlow will withdraw the papers she filed against former Bear, Stearns & Co. economist Lawrence Kudlow, her attorney said. Lawrence Kudlow, a former Reagan Administration official and supply-side economics advocate, has agreed to check into a drug-treatment program at Hazelden Foundation in Minnesota at his wife’s request, her attorney, Robert S. Perskin, said. Judith Kudlow had said in an affidavit last month that Kudlow had been fired as economics editor of the National Review and was in danger of a cocaine overdose.
