Alliance Imaging Inc.: The Orange-based company, the largest national provider of hospital and mobile MRI services, reported profits of $1.1 million, or 8 cents per share, for its second quarter ended June 30. The company posted $812,000 in losses, a drop of 12 cents per share, for the same quarter last year. Sales for the recently closed quarter were $14.8 million, up from the $14.5 million in sales last year. For the six-month period also ending June 30, the company reported profit of $2.1 million, or 15 cents per share, from sales of $29.2 million.
