Zenith Insurance Buys Back 1 Million Shares
Zenith National Insurance Corp., a Woodland Hills-based property, casualty, auto and workers’ compensation insurer, said it has repurchased a block of 1 million shares of its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange.
The block does not include a repurchase authorization announced Dec. 10, 1992, for an additional 1 million shares.
Under that ongoing authorization, 539,920 shares have been repurchased for about $11.7 million, the company said.
Zenith said more than 17.6 million shares remain outstanding.
