Cerplex Group Inc.: The Tustin provider of electronic repair and parts services reported second quarter profit of $285,000, or 2 cents a share. That compares with year-earlier profit of $230,000, or 2 cents a share, which included a one-time charge of $2 million. Revenue rose 37% to $38.7 million from $28.2 million. Profit for the first half dropped to $1.1 million, or 8 cents a share, from $2.1 million, or 17 cents a share. Revenue increased 38% to $78.2 million from $56.5 million. The company said results were affected by a decline in orders from a customer that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The revenue increase was attributable in part to acquisitions made since the second quarter last year, the company said.
