Pimco Advisors L.P.: The Newport Beach investment management organization company reported second-quarter net income of $14.1 million, or 26 cents per Class A limited partnership and general partner unit, up 18% from the $12 million, or 25 cents a unit, posted a year ago. Revenue increased 15% to $75.5 million from $65.8 million. First-half profit declined 1% to $27.2 million, or 52 cents per from $27.5 million, or 54 cents a unit. Revenue rose 9% to $146.6 million from $134.5 million.
