Alliance Coastal Sues GE Capital Over Credit Card Marketing

NEWPORT BEACH — Alliance Coastal Corp., a marketing firm, said Wednesday that it has filed a civil lawsuit against General Electric Capital Corp., alleging that the giant financial services company reneged on a deal to market home equity lines of credit and credit cards.
Alliance, which filed suit in Marin County Superior Court, said it lost more than $10 million in fees and commissions. Executives at GE Capital could not be reached for comment.
