OXNARD : Police Plan Memorial Golf Tournament

The third annual Oxnard Police Officers’ Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Ojai Valley Inn on Aug. 25.

The tournament is expected to raise more than $20,000 for a scholarship fund in memory of Officers Mike Cole and Jim O’Brien, who died in the line of duty. The scholarship awards $1,000 to eight local high school students to be used for college.
