Fidelity National Financial Inc.: The Irvine title insurance underwriter posted net earnings of $1 million, or 9 cents a share, for the second quarter, down from $4.2 million, or 26 cents a share, for the like 1994 period. Revenue declined 27% to $95.5 million from $130.3 million. For the first half, the company incurred a net loss of $2.2 million, or 19 cents a share, which included an extraordinary loss of $813,000 due to the early retirement of debt. For the first six months last year, the company reported net earnings of $11 million, or 69 cents a share. Revenue fell 35% to $178.6 million from $273.9 million.
