Tour of London to Raise Funds for Arts

A vacation tour of London’s cultural highlights, sponsored by the Alliance for the Arts, will raise money to support cultural events in Thousand Oaks.
The alliance has organized a theater tour of London, scheduled for Dec. 27 through Jan. 3 and priced at $1,795 per person. Part of the proceeds--$180 per traveler--will go to the Civic Arts Plaza endowment fund, which provides money for the plaza’s operations.
Although the tour’s itinerary has not yet been set, participants will receive orchestra seats to four shows, including “Sunset Boulevard.” They will also tour Windsor Castle, the National Theater and Stratford-on-Avon.
The price includes round-trip air fare from Los Angeles, breakfast daily and lodgings at the Gloucester Hotel near Hyde Park.
