WESTLAKE : Business Workshops Scheduled This Week

Two low-cost business workshops for present and prospective business owners will be held this week at the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce by the Service Corps of Retired Executives.

“Starting and Operating Your Own Business” will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday; “Developing Your Business Plan” will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Service Corps is a group of retired business people headquartered in Glendale. They present regular business workshops at the Chamber of Commerce, as well as in their offices and other locations throughout the city.

The fee for Tuesday’s session is $15 at the door, and Wednesday’s session costs $20.

The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce is at 350 S. Bixel Ave.
