The magnetism people feel for Ground Zero is related to the attraction they have for places where evil actions took place. Throngs still flock to the location of the Nicole Brown-Ron Goldman murders. Visitors return to numerous battlefields where the sons of mothers killed the sons of other mothers. That spot in New Mexico was where the first nuclear horror was initiated, a deed for which we are still paying the price.
