Balboa’s Hogan Wins U.S. Sailing Title

Casey Hogan of Balboa finished first and third in the final two races to win the U.S. Sailing Rolex Junior women’s sailing championship Monday off Newport Beach.

Hogan, who led all three days, finished with 11.5 points.

Fiona McLean of La Jolla was second (26 points), Annelise Moore (29.75) of Carmel third and Mandy McDonnell (31.75) of Newport Beach fourth.
