VENTURA : School Board Names New Principal
The Ventura school board Tuesday appointed a longtime math teacher as principal of Pierpont elementary school.
Lee Warner, 46, has taught the past three years at Anacapa Middle School. Warner, who has more than two decades of teaching experience in grades kindergarten through college, said he is looking forward to leading the 250-student campus.
“It’s always great when you have a close-knit group of student body and faculty,” he said.
Warner earned his bachelor’s degree at Cal State Los Angeles and master’s degrees at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Warner grew up in Simi Valley and lives in Ventura.
