WASHINGTON —
A new postal card honoring Confederate Brig. Gen. Stand Watie has his name misspelled.
The card is one of a set produced by the Postal Service to commemorate Civil War leaders and parallels a set of stamps. Watie’s name is correct on the stamp, but under his portrait on the postal card it is spelled Waite.
