Ex-N.Y. Mayor in Hospital

NEW YORK — Former New York Mayor David N. Dinkins was moved to a hospital in Charleston, S.C., for treatment of a blocked heart artery.
“And with luck, I’ll be back on the tennis court next week,” the 68-year-old former mayor said in a telephone conversation Tuesday.
Dinkins was taken to the hospital when he fell ill after playing two hours of tennis Sunday. He was on a six-day tennis vacation at the Hilton Head resort.
