INSIDE & OUT : It’s a Wrap

Keep those cracks, bumps and imperfections on your walls and ceiling under cover with Anaglypta wall coverings, borders and dadoes.

Anaglypta, which can be painted, is applied directly over surface flaws.

“Anaglypta is made to last a lifetime,” says Martin Eisenhart of Eisenhart Wallcoverings Co. in Hanover, Pa., which distributes the product. “You can paint over it again and again to change the color scheme and feel of a room.”

And it’s easy to hang.

In addition to embossed coverings, Eisenhart also has four four faux finish styles, which are ideal for sponging and ragging applications.

Keep your garden on its toes with pot feet.

Drainage is important for keeping plants healthy and those in pots tend to become waterlogged. Pot feet from T.F. Studio in Costa Mesa not only ensure good drainage, but keep containers from leaving unsightly water rings on decks and patios.

Drawing inspiration from nature, T.F. Studio, a family business owned by David and Rachel Klemek, offers pot feet (about $10 to $12 for a set of three) in six designs, including a rose, salmon, maple leaf, sunflower and rabbit. They are hand-pressed of terra cotta and fired to high temperatures, making them capable of withstanding the elements.

Pot feet are available at the Pottery Shack in Laguna Beach or at T.F. Studio, 785 W. 17th St., Suite F, Costa Mesa (714) 650-6232.

Furnishings capturing the image of Hollywood’s biggest stars have leading roles in the New Horizons collection by Monique and Sergio Sevarese for Dialogica.

Receiving top billing are Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and Audrey Hepburn.

With sleek lines and plush, oversize upholstery, the Gable velvet lounge chair ($1,950) and sofa ($3,975) are as robust as the King was in “Mogambo.”

A solid yet opulent facade, characteristic of Harlow in “Dinner at Eight,” is exemplified in the lounge chair ($1,837) named after her.

And the Audrey dining room chair ($997), with its high back and ‘60s appeal, would fit right in Holly Golightly’s flat in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

The New Horizons collection, which comes in many colors and fabrics, is available at Dialogica, 8304 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles (213) 951-1993.
