BEAR WITH HER

Thank you for last Sunday’s correction of the plot of “Alaska,” Charlton Heston’s new film, though I must admit that I still don’t get it. I have read it six times, and I still can’t understand how the polar bear got on the airplane.

OK, let’s take it from the top. Heston plays an evil poacher. He’s pursuing a polar bear cub. The bear is befriended by two siblings whose father is involved in a plane crash. The bear goes off with them to rescue Dad. Got it?
