Underwriters Laboratories Inc.: The nonprofit safety testing organization said Wednesday that it has opened three satellite engineering offices, including one in Brea, to provide faster service to clients in Southern California and Colorado. The other offices are in Granada Hills and Denver. The Northbrook, Ill., company, which has 20 national and seven international offices, conducts safety investigations for electrical devices and tests chemical and mechanical products.
