Moore Seeks Removal of Wallace Board: The Canadian business forms giant said it is pursuing the action after Wallace Computer Services declined an offer to discuss its hostile $1.3-billion takeover bid. Toronto-based Moore Corp. also said it filed a motion in a U.S. federal court in New York seeking to dismiss Wallace’s antitrust lawsuit against the company or, alternatively, to consolidate those claims with Moore’s countersuit in Delaware. Moore, whose tender offer of $56 a share for its Chicago-based competitor received U.S. antitrust clearance last week, also extended the offer until Sept. 19. Wallace said its shareholders are best served by the company remaining independent and added that the company has no reason to meet with Moore to discuss the tender offer.
