SIMI VALLEY : Justice O’Connor to Speak at Library
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor is scheduled to speak tonight at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.
O’Connor, nominated by President Reagan on July 7, 1981, was the first woman named to the nation’s highest court. Her office has not disclosed the topic of her speech, said Lynda Schuler, a spokeswoman for the library.
A limited number of $25 tickets for O’Connor’s 7 p.m. speech are still available by calling the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation at 522-2977.
